The CamelTones
*Toni Idol Presents
Based out of Berkeley CA, The CamelTones play a variety of covers and a few originals. Covering songs by Pink Floyd, The Band, Peter Gabriel, XTC, Ween, Hawaiian stuff, Phish and Wilco, Maria Muldaur, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morrisette, Fleetwood Mac and a whole lotta others!
Gary Morrell on guitars, Steve Chaney on ukelele, Jamison Smeltz on bass, Rich DiBenedetto on drums/perc, Mark Francis on guitar, and Karla Downey on drums/perc. Everybody sings something.
Johnny Vegas & The High Rollers
I was back-up and lead singer for this 10-piece band for over 3 years. A rock and soul revue with disco on the side, I covered songs such as "Chain Of Fools", "Groove Is In The Heart", "Shook Me All Night Long", "I Will Survive", "I Gotta Feeling" and many more great dance tunes.
This group played in venues such as Rancho Nicasio, George's San Rafael, 19 Broadway Fairfax, and many other hot spots around town. It was also the perfect band for local weddings, big city corporate parties and Napa Winery events.
Wine Women and Song
Founded and Produced by singer-songwriter-actress Susan Z celebrating 15 years this year 2013, the benefit show to help local folks with cancer issues will be held October 26th at The Jewish Community Center in San Rafael.
I have worked with this show since 2007 when I organized and produced Wine Women and Song events in Berkeley CA for two years. Along with singing in the events produced by Susan in Marin County, I have also helped to manage the flow for all of the volunteer singers in the show. With a great love for this organization, I continues to work behind the scenes for this years show.
